Muesli- The healthy breakfast.
Muesli Fusion’s goal is to have more people eating a healthy breakfast. Unfortunately, it’s all too easy to start your day off with an unhealthy choice. As we rush through our mornings consuming Frosted Flakes, Caramel Macchiatos, or cinnamon bagels with strawberry cream cheese, we are loading up on calories with little nutrition. These foods will generally lead to a “crash” and low-energy later in the day. Muesli Fusion is a great alternative. Muesli Fusion is simple, is healthy, and offers choices.
Muesli Fusion is a cereal that is quick and easy to prepare. In the morning, mix your muesli cereal with some milk or yogurt and you’re ready to go. You can even sleep-in an extra minute or two by adding milk to your muesli the night before and covering and refrigerating overnight (try that with Cheerios!).
Muesli Fusion is about as healthy as it gets featuring whole grains and several other healthy ingredients such as nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. Muesli Fusion uses only 100% whole grains in our muesli. That means each mix has about 28g of whole grains in every serving. That meets more than half of the USDA’s recommended daily 48g. We will offer more details about the specific health benefits of other ingredients in upcoming posts, but they include vitamins, antioxidants, fiber, protein, amino acids, omega-3’s and more.
Before Muesli Fusion, there wasn’t much muesli available in the United States; if you didn’t like raisins or nuts or wanted all-organic, you were out of luck. Muesli Fusion offers mueslis without dried fruits, like Go Nuts or without nuts like Berry Burst. For those of you who crave something sweet in the morning, some of our muesli’s take a new spin on traditional muesli with small amounts of sweet ingredients like dark chocolate covered espresso bean or cinnamon chips. Even our sweetest mix, Toothache, has less sugar than popular “healthy” cereals such as Kashi Go Lean or Raisin Bran. Plus you won’t find high fructose corn syrup in any Muesli Fusion cereals.
